As we move into autumn and consign this wonderful summer to memory we will start spending more time indoors again. We are keen to extend the summer season and strengthen our connection with nature.

Interior design trends suggest that we are to be inspired by a resurgence of interest in natural surfaces – think stoneware, terracotta, marble, and travertine used across the board from backsplashes to bathtubs, furniture, and decorative objects.

The raw, porous, imperfect nature of these organic materials adds depth, soul, and visual intrigue while also mimicking the calming, restorative ambiance of the outdoors.

It is refreshing to see a return to rich marbles soft and organic materials with warmer tones and greige versus white on walls with earthy elements like wood, stone, and clay compliments – classic and refreshing it brings a space to life!
